Welcome to Healing with Sky

Sky grew up between Connecticut and Massachusetts before relocating to the Hawaiian Islands. She grew up largely outdoors and spent most of her time learning native plants and bits about living off the land. Through connecting with nature, Sky feels she fostered a connection with the earth that kept her curious and wanting to learn how she can help and live more consciously.

In 2012, Sky broke her femur and was rushed off to the hospital. Surgeries were done and MRI’s said she was all better, but persisting pain and discomfort continued. PT ended and all doctors had to say was “your on your own”. This is a common experience, there’s an issue that modern medicine can help with, but ongoing care is often overlooked. Forced to look into alternative, Sky jumped into a multitude of self-care practices, including massage.

“As soon as I found massage, I knew this was a calling”. Massage Therapy isn’t just a spa-day treatment, its a powerful healing tool. Massage can help to foster a connection with our bodies that we often overlook. It can help bring back length to areas where one might experience tension, reduce pain, boost the immune system, calm the nervous system, and be used as a preventative method for potential ailments down the line.

There is something about activities that force us to be present, being outside, connecting with your environment, taking care of our bodies- that help us to live more in-tune with ourselves. As both a person and a practitioner, my goal is to help you cultivate that same mindfulness and care.

The simple act of tuning in to my body, even just for an hour or two a week, can have a profound impact on well-being. I invite you to do the same. Through massage and other mindful practices, carving out time for yourself is not just an investment in your body—it’s an investment in your life.
